Stay blessed!!

Hello hello everyone hope y'all are doing well!! This will be a quickie today but life in Missouri is grand!! The members are awesome, our friends are progressing and two are going to be baptized on Saturday!!!! They have SUCH FAITH like they are willing and ready to sacrifice anything and everything to know Christ and WOW so inspiring and such a reminder to me that Christ knows what we need and what we dont need!! The commandments are for us to be happy and experience joy in this life and the next!!! What a blessing!!!!!!

This week I saw how Gods timing really is perfect. Last night we picked up some yummy dinner from a member, dropped some treats off at another members, and were on our way home when my comp felt prompted to go visit someone's house. After going to the house and realizing the member doesn't live there anymore, we drove home and right as we were driving on the road to get to our apartment there was a dog on the loose! We jumped out of our car and caught it before it ran onto the highway, only about 50 yards away, and were able to give it back to the owner who was in tears and thanked us for helping her over and over before driving away! If we hadn't done all those little things and followed the Spirit to visit that members home, which seemed like a waste after we realized they don't live there anymore, we were in the EXACT RIGHT place at the right time to help another loved child of God!! Ahh so good!!!!!

So many miracles and tender mercies but I hope y'all are recording the little things in your life that show God loves you like getting gifted a peach AGAIN the exact day one was desired, big bubble blowing downtown, nice gentleman giving out watercolor paintings, and people bearing their testimony of growth when you feel like you're buried in the dirt!!! I love you but God loves you so much more!!!!!! Te amooooo totas pessoas!!!

Have a blessed day!!

Everyone here in Missouri says have a blessed day instead of have a good day and it's my new favorite thing!!!

A week of MIRACLES, but honestly what week isn't full of miracles? We had the opportunity to continue teaching two of our African friends this week and WOW such spirit-filled lessons!! They had tons of questions, some that we were glad to answer and some we didn't know, but the good news of the gospel is that we don't need to know everything as long as we have faith that through Christ everything will work out!!

This week my comp was sick, not Corona don't you worry guys, but I spent a few mornings studying by myself for hours. It was a little lonely but made me SO GRATEFUL to have a companion and to be able to go outside our apartment normally, even if it's only to drive to the park and contact through Facebook there. The  change of scenery really is so nice! Also side note the Missouri scenery is STUNNING!!! I've never seen so much green, vibrant green, in my whole life and I LOVE it!!!!! One upside to all my personal studying this week was that I really got a chance to dive deep in the Come Follow Me in Alma when he is talking to his son Coriantum. Coriantum had made mistakes, like we all do, but after some loving correction his father sent him out to preach the word again! We don't need to be perfect, we're not expected to, but as long as we're continually repenting and trying to become more Christlike, He will use us to help others learn about the gospel!!! What a comfort cause I am way far from perfect but if Christ can use me to help someone else I'm glad to try!!

We also got to do lots of service later this week, mainly helping a family move. The family isn't members but they have a YSA daughter who doesn't live with them that was baptized a year and a half ago and the family was MAD. They didn't like it at all and she had actually moved in with them again because of corona, but had moved out again a few weeks ago because it was just too contentious. She got the missionaries to come help load the truck and then basically our whole district helped unload the truck Friday, and they were so happy about it they asked us to come by saturday and bought us pizza and invited us to come back for a bbq once they get everything set up!!! Service truly changes people's hearts!!!!!!!

Hope you all have a BLESSED week and see God's hand in your life through the little things like making homemade tortillas with a Mexican (my comp is thee best!!),  pretty thunderstorms, inspired answers through friends, and blowing big dish soap bubbles!!
