-17 degrees

 Now that's chilly. So blessed to have warm gloves and coats and heaters and blankets and fuzzy socks and an apartment even if the thermostat is slightly broken cause 59 degrees is WAYYYY better than 1 with windchill of -17!! 

This week was great! Got another companion so we're now in a trio with Sister Chamber who is a rockstar!! We had a crazy busy week talking to lots of members of the church in our area as well as helping our friend Annette move and organize! I also got to see my first companion Hermana Gonzalez and it was so tender + cool to see how much we've both grown closer to our Savior Jesus Christ since we met in july!!!! Shes still one of the most inspiring people I've ever met!!

This week we had the opportunity to shovel snow on the St Louis temple grounds!! Even though it literally felt like -15 degrees and all I had on my hands were little knit gloves, the Spirit that is there is so full of love and joy!!! I cant wait to go back inside one day and learn more about my loving Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ!!!! 

A quick spiritual thought for the week: no matter what religion or background you are, you can love others!!! The church's 2021 study manual for the doctrine and convents this week had a quote I loved

"...service in God's work has always been about HOW we serve, not who notices. However small or unseen your contribution may seem at times, YOU TOO are a fellow servant in the Lord's great work". I testify that is true for every single one of you reading this email!!!! God's work is to help His children and when you love or give a smile or hold the door or help someone move or share your testimony you are participating in the Lord's work!! And you all are great examples of that :)

Miracle jam!!!

 Hello hello everyone hope you're having a fantastic beginning to march and hopefully having warm weather like we are here in Missouri!!! Its been 60-70s this week so we've been eating and studying outside lots and it's been so good for the SOUL!!!

So many miracles this week but wanted to write out two: 1. Meeting Tanner

This guy was being taught by missionaries here before I got here, but got super duper busy and I never met him, only had a call once on the phone for like 15 minutes. But we've really been feeling like we should contact him so with the warmer weather we decided to go out and study at a park that he supposedly runs at that's right next to our mission President and his wife's house. Friday we went there but it was actually kinda chilly so we sat in the car and studied  and after 1.5+ hours studying there President bell's wife came home and waved at us. She went inside then came back out with a jar of homemade jam for us! We talked and 5-10minites later she went "oh. my gosh tanner is coming! Act natural!" So she introduced us to Tanner and we had an amazing conversation about his life and how he got here and he is such a God-fearing and faith-filled man!!! Definitely God's hand in us meeting him there and having such an eye opening conversation about only caring what God thinks! It made me so happy to be a missionary and glad to offer help to ANYONE to help strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ regardless of their religion!

2. Our neighbor Tayisah, who literally told us our friendship and heart attaching her door the other day was a sign from God that He loves and is aware of her!! So blessed to be a part of her deepening relationship with her Heavenly Father!! She so helped us out with a Facebook story later in the week so that was neato! 

I can't even write all the amazing things that happened and I won't write all the hard things that made the great things that much more incredible!!!! I know there truly is no joy without knowing pain and there is no hope without Christ!!!! Hope you all have a fantastic week and remember God is aware of YOU and loves you for who you are today!!!! He gladly accepts you as you are and wants to help you become the even greater person HE KNOWS you can become!!!! God is so good!!!! Hope you all see the tender mercies in your life like clean laundry and working water and homemade jam and banana bread and learning new skills and being totally horrible at things but still enjoying them!!!! I love you but God loves you even more!!!!

GOD IS SO AWARE!!!

 GUYS GOD IS SO AWARE OF THE DETAILS OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!!! This week had an experience that was literally weeks in the making in that Sister Jarman and I were able to meet and talk to this lady at a restaurant!!! Some of the miracles that had to happen for it to happen (sorry for the grammar)

-practicing explaining the Restoration simply 6 weeks ago

-picking up other sisters to go to service in the morning

-changing into dresses in a parking lot

-walking into the restaurant at same time

-connecting with this woman through herboyfruend and our neighbor

-being led by the Spirit to talk to her and IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE AND GOD IS REAL AND THE GOSPEL IS TRUE AND I LOVE YOU ALL AND HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT WEEK AND THANK HEAVENLY FATHER IN YOUR PRAYERS!!! 

 I love you but God loves you even more!!! Don't forget about tender mercies like amazing friends and washing machines and bleach !!!
